"Allee Center Leipzig"

Art in the shopping center. A new positive experience we have made with our art exhibition in Leipzig shopping center. To install an art exhibition in a shopping center is an exciting affair. Not only logistically it was issuing a challenge: it had to be established the complete exhibition system in the night to ensure visitors not to disturb. We worked from 18:00 until 02:00 clock clock at night, until we had everything ready. But also the visitors were a challenge in itself. You meet with museum exhibitions or art galleries only on affine audience, in a shopping center it is certainly different. Here you can meet, so to speak, a broad cross-section of all strata of population. The reactions ranged from absolute incomprehension until serious buying interest. It is likely that such an exhibition to one or other well-known artists would do well to sea the reactions of the masses on their own art. The exhibition was for us in all aspects a success. We made interesting contacts and new experiences, so we have chosen this exhibition to repeat: the next time in the "Allee Center Berlin" in January 2009. Further contacts to other shopping centersare are already included. We are confident that our work brings art to places where they are not expected. The polarizing opinions show us that we are on a good path.
