art exhibition

Berlin, 02.02. till 07.02.2009

The art exhibition in Berlin in the Allee Center in February 2009 was mutually successful, as well as devastating. A small report on the art exhibition that I have written in my Blogg. (in German)

In contrast to the art exhibition in Leipzig in October 2008 this art exhibition was, however, extremely busy. Since it is a shopping center in Berlin's district Lichtenberg under the visitors there were a significantly high proportion of socially weak people, with little understanding for modern art, because they seem to have other existential problems.

Thus fell the art exhibition for me to be a mixture of verbal abuse and recognition.

The big contrast was that on the other side there were many contacts and buying interest. Not only this fact testifies to me the success of the art exhibition, but also the fact that I see myself in a challenge to this new situation. How exactly this challenge will artistically displayed and will develop, I can not yet say.
